Ron Thiele was a professional photographer from 1988-2001. His work was published in dozens of magazines, newspapers, books and publications world-wide. His editorial work has won numerous awards and he has helped educate the public about endangered spaces and species on the North Coast of BC.

Ron's career evolved into the digital space where he founded Xpan Interactive in 2001, a digital agency focused on telling interactive stories through elearning and multimedia. He continues to be an advocate of conservation and education of Canada's wild places from his home in Airdrie, Alberta, where he lives with his wife, two daughters and their mountain dog, Mud.
